Compass Realty agent Julie (Klusener) Staab is the Bradshaw Group's representative in Lawrence and Douglas County, Kansas. Julie has spent most of her professional life in the medical field, helping women. Now, she's helping women in the world of real estate. Julie spent most of her professional career in health care as an X-ray tech, cath lab tech and mammographer, specializing in biopsies. The Great Bend, Kansas, native graduated from Radiological Technology School in Hutchinson, Kansas, and spent the next few decades working in hospital radiology departments in Great Bend, Wichita, Topeka and Lawrence. Julie is married to fellow Compass Realty agent J. Schafer, a longtime broadcast journalist and current news director of Kansas Public Radio at the University of Kansas.

Julie has spent a lifetime listening to and caring for patients, most recently at LMH Health (Lawrence Memorial Hospital). She's humbled by the number of requests she receives year after year from previous patients as a result of her bedside manner. In addition to working at the hospital, Julie has been involved in raising funds for LMH to provide medical services to underserved women in the Lawrence area. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling. She also enjoys interior design and envisioning new ways to decorate homes. Her interest in becoming a real estate agent was sparked by her friendship with fellow REALTOR^® Laurie Bradshaw, co-owner of the Bradshaw Group.
