License # KS00051128 | MO1999057491
A family history in real estate prompted Laurie to pursue her own career in the industry. It was in her DNA. Now, more than 25 years later, she's built a successful business out of helping clients buy and sell real estate. This pursuit allows her to explore another passion: home design and decor. Laurie has come a long way from her hometown of Pocahontas, Iowa. Population 1,867. After graduating from Upper Iowa University, she worked in the insurance industry for nearly a decade before arriving in Kansas City.
Laurie served as a broker/manager for a KC real estate office but prefers sales because it allows her to work more closely and directly with people. Along the way, she teamed up with her husband, Brice, to start their own real estate team, the Bradshaw Group. Their commitment to clients is evidenced by the many positive reviews and team awards they've earned through the years.
Laurie owns several apartment complexes in the Kansas City area and enjoys rehabbing investment properties as well. She lives in Leawood with her husband, Brice, and their two younger children – Sophea and Brodye. Eldest son Kobe, a graduate of the University of Kansas, is an engineer. Laurie’s greatest joy is attending her children’s sporting activities and spending time with family.
When not listing homes, Laurie enjoys volunteering in her community and at her children’s school. She's worn many hats over the years, from Girl Scout leader to volleyball coach to team parent for any number of sports. She also enjoys boating, especially on Lake Okoboji in northern Iowa. A Hawkeye at heart, Laurie is a Jayhawk by marriage. She and Brice are season ticket holders for KU basketball, football and volleyball and enjoy attending games throughout the year to cheer on the Jayhawks.
